As the Project Manager Engineering, you're passionate about creating yachts from start to finish while leading and developing your engineering team. This diverse role offers various responsibilities while you report to the project director.
Your work includes
- Overseeing technical project management;
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, classification Society Standards, and company protocols;
- Planning, monitoring, and delivering accurate engineering documentation;
- Acting as the point of contact for representatives, subcontractors, and third parties;
- Managing project scope, quality, and performance;
- Conducting regular meetings to align multidisciplinary efforts;
- Optimizing efficiency and resolving challenges;
- Identifying and mitigating project risks;
- Supporting different teams;
- Monitoring and evaluating engineering team reports;
- Preparing detailed status updates and performance reports;
- Leading, inspiring, and developing the Engineering team;
You
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree;
- Have at least 5-7 years experience in either maritime industry and/or yacht building;
- Are proactive, problem-solving, anticipating, and a team player;
- Have an eye for details and a helicopter view;
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros;
- Have an excellent command of the English language;
- Are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
