The Senior Engineer Construction leads, supervises and oversees, but next to that, you’ll also contribute to creating beautiful yachts.
Your tasks
- Overseeing the detailed engineering;
- Ensuring quality and timeliness;
- Leading the creation of 3D models;
- Managing and coordinating various datasheets;
- Leading and supervising a group of engineers;
- Reporting directly to the Lead Engineer Construction;
- Responsible for engineering various components
- Coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring a smooth collaboration;
- Ensuring compliance with standards and quality
- Managing the information flow to production
- Contributing to the optimization of the engineering and production processes;
You
- Have a secondary vocational education (MBO) or higher vocational education (HBO) thinking- and working level;
- Have at least 5 to 10 years of experience as a (senior) construction engineer or a similar role, preferably in the ship- and yacht-building industry;
- Have knowledge of the building process of a yacht;
- Are proficient in the English language, both written and spoken;
- Are familiar with different CAD programs, NX, and Team Centre;
- Are quick, a team player, communicative, and coaching;
- Are permitted to work in the Netherlands, either as an EU citizen or with a valid work permit.
