Take charge of innovative maritime projects
This Project Manager Shipbuilding will work on various ships delivered worldwide. With a continuosly optimizing approach, the ship designs are proven to maximize its efficiency, capacity, and functionality, and the project manager has an active role from the start, designing, to the finish line, the delivery.
Your work includes
- Organizing and managing projects from design to delivery;
- Preparing, monitoring, and updating project and detailed production schedules in collaboration with project coordinators and contractors;
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and their teams regarding the project progress;
- Providing functional leadership to project team to ensure effective and efficient workflows in line with quality, environmental, and safety standards;
- Conducting technical, financial, and process evaluations and identify opportunities for (continues) improvement.
As the project manager shipbuilding,
- You have a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Maritime Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field;
- You have 5–10 years of relevant (shipbuilding) experience;
- You have planning and organizational skills;
- You are a strong team player, eager to learn new skills, and result-oriented;
- You have an excellent command in the English language;
- You are permitted to work in the Netherlands, either by an EU citizenship or a previously granted work-visa.
